The 101 was designed to cater to both the beginner to learn the basics of surfing without being overwhelmed by a huge board and for the seasoned surfer to still paddle out and carve it up on the smaller or more sizable days.

Keeping with the classic fun shape outline, the 101 has a low entry rocker for easy paddling and getting into waves. A low to moderate tail rocker gives it a bit of a performance edge to quicker turns. A flat deck with full rails adds stability and the bottom starts with a shallow single concave in the nose with a bit of double concave entering into the mid section and fading into vee out of the tail.

A tri-fin setup follows through with the easy factor for learning to turn but also keeping it fun for bottom turns into the lip for the seasoned rider, or set it up as a 2+1 with longbox and side bites for a more classic experience.
