A modernized take on a retro outline, the Stupid Fish is built to excel in smaller to mid size conditions and perfectly ideal for surfers who want a board that has the flowing vintage curves, yet still performs with speed and agility of a performance shortboard for today’s on edge surfing.
Unlike its classic counterpart, the Stupid Fish’s overall curves are more sleek and performance oriented. We dropped the beak nose design and turned down the rails from full and boxy to soft and foxy. The standard swallow tail remains but not as deep cut or wide. This allows for plenty of drive and hold without sacrificing fast rail to rail maneuverability in turns. The bottom also comes modernized using a shallow single concave early in the nose and transitioning to vee off the tail. The foil and rocker combination is a balanced blend of classic and progression for those who prefer to carve clean lines but also like to keep the performance edge.
The stupid fish can be hooked in 2 variations: classic twin or quad.
