The Hellcat is designed to gap the area of high performance and groveler and can be ridden on a routine basis. A small amount of width is added to the nose and center and is combined with a semi-low entry rocker to assist in paddling into waves quick and easy.
A single concave starts early in the nose and blends into double concave through the fins helps give lift while still giving the board a quick and explosive feel just as any performance board should even with the added width. A bit of extra tail rocker allows for you to pull vertical in the pocket and a slightly soft tapered rail helps keep those quick tight turns going.
For surfers who prefer a classic shortboard outline but don’t want a hybrid style, the Hellcat was made to excel in both small and large conditions. Recent updates that adds a 2nd stage tail rocker and some added rail adjustments have turned the Hellcat into a beast of a performer.
