The key to the outstanding performance of the Flexion Technology\u2122 boards lies within the combination of materials used during construction.\u00a0 For the core of our boards, we use a 2lb EPS \u2013 Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) \u2013 foam core that utilizes a 1\/2\u2033 high density polyurethane stringer. For the bottom lamination and wrapping around the rails, we use a unique high modulus diamond ply material that has a rating stronger than steel, innegra, or carbon fiber by weight and has a high impact resistance. This not only adds overall strength but minimizes torsional twist and gives a balanced flex from nose to tail.\u00a0 The deck lamination consists of a bi-axial cloth, carbon fiber tail patches and center web-fused tape further adding to the strength of the board.<\/p>\n

Our structural design with Flexion Technology\u2122 allows the board to have a balanced, light, and strong construction without giving up crucial flex which gives a surfboard a responsive and lively feel in the water.<\/p>\n
