Blending the popular small wave groveler plus adding a kick of pure performance has given the Clutch the ultimate in versatility in both average to pumping surf. Its shorter, wide outline gives it plenty of paddle power and lift to float over flat sections and enough rocker with blended concave to put the board on rail and into the pocket on critical sections.<\/span><\/p>\n

Assisting in water flow and controlled lift, a single concave starts in the forward section of the nose blending into a light double concave starting just before the front fins and fades into a spiral vee coming off the end of the tail.\u00a0 The swallowtail helps keep control through turns and maintains speed without sacrificing quick rail-to-rail transitions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Designed for average to fun waves in the waist to chest high range, since its release the Clutch has also proven itself to be a heavy hitter in overhead surf as well. The Clutch comes stock as a 5-fin option and will work equally well as a quad or thruster depending on the conditions be it mushy, hollow, or onshore beach break.<\/span><\/p>\n
