From the humble beginnings of the original Fat Daisy, the Fat Daisy V2 model comes as a result of updates to tweak its performance and add some more aggression in the design for the advanced rider. Don’t be fooled with its soft rounded outline and laid back rocker, this board moves and rides like it’s a performance shortboard.<\/p>\n

Like the original, the FDV2 still features a low entry and exit rocker, but the nose has been slightly pulled in and a soft hip added into the tail so that you can perform quick direction changes without shedding too much speed. No loss in paddle power with plenty of width and foam under your chest. The most drastic changes are featured in the bottom contours with a softened vee belly starting early and blending in double concave just forward and through the fins with still plenty vee exiting off the tail.\u00a0 A full rail still remains and a nice wide soft squash tail flows with the outline of the board for lift and good release.<\/p>\n

The Fat Daisy V.2 is a perfect groveler assault weapon for small gutless or solid waist to chest high surf. Set up as a 5 fin, you can choose the best match according to wave conditions or your surfing style. We personally love it as a quad for the extra kick of speed on the weaker days.<\/p>\n
